IAMGAMEDEVELOPER - LMMS is a great tools for arranging audio, built for Linux and Windows. Actually, the interface is not really complex, however adaptation is necessary since it is not as simple as audacity, perhaps it is more like cubase.

Basically, the interfaces are divided into song editor, beat+bassline editor, Piano-roll, and the other four (not used right now). In song editor, all of the component that involves in the song are included here, include the beat+bassline, in brief, we can say that song editor is the main editor of all. Usually, Beat+Bassline editor is used for creating beat for the song. You can just drag and drop the drum elements from the left side bar where all of the resources (plug-in) are located there. Finally, Piano-Roll is important for creating the melody of the song.
So, this is my first time trying audio software, by the way, i had a music background in intermediate level, and it helps a lot, especially for creating the melody.

I begin to make a melody at the first step, importing from my presets on the left side bar, and choose xylophon.xpf, drag it to the Song editor. Then, just double click the first bar in the row of xylophon, and the Piano-Roll interface will emerge. The melody is ready to be created.

Next, the beat was made to give an effect of live music. So, i imported it from my samples, and double click drumsynth, and choose cr8000. Actually, you can choose your own plug-in, the purpose of this is only introduce about the basic element for making a beat. Then, you will see many plug-in there, just drag and drop it to the Beat+Bassline editor, and create the beat.

Finally, after finish with all, click file, choose export, and make it into .wav, in my cases, i name it parpatuel.wav, and it is ready to be attached in my game. Cheers^^
