IAMGAMEDEVELOPER - As game developer, I realized that I have to play a lot of games. But sometimes I only play it for fun and killing time, it doesn't affect my knowledge of games sometimes. Therefore, I plan to post about games that I played, maybe every week, and review it briefly. The main purpose is really personal and simple, which is to review my mind about games that I played, it will be simpler than game analysis.

#1. Metal Slug 7 ( DS )

I started playing Metal Slug when I just got my PlayStation, it was about ten years ago. Basically, I like side-scrolling and shooting game, and Metal Slug has both components. For Metal Slug 7, I played in DS without using stylus, and I enjoy because there are variations that I didn't see when I played the game in PlayStation. There are several characters with different special ability which is differentiated by the attributes of each character. But the most important thing, it is still similar with old Metal Slug. 

#2. Castlevania : Dawn of Sorrow ( DS )

Honestly, I never play Castlevania, and I know nothing about this game. But when I played it, I started enjoy this game, I mean it has good story, the character Soma Cruz is quite unique because of his white hair, and the gameplay is acceptable by me. I quit playing because I didn't find out how to do high jump, because after getting around the map, the only way to continue the game is to reach high plain, and with normal jump it's unreachable.

#3. Elemental ( Android )

This is one of my favorite game, basically I like casual game, action and puzzle genres. In the very beginning, I'm a bit confuse on how to play Elemental, but the learning curve of this game is nice, and I master it after three minutes, it's very easy, I'm not lying. But the aspects that are needed to solve this puzzle game is memory and good visualization, since if you have great memory, you don't need to peek the pattern everytime, and if you have keen eyes, you could solve it rapidly.

#4. Jewels Pro ( Android )

I love jewel games, but not this one. If this is the first jewel game that I play, maybe I can love it, but the fact is not as it is. Well, the gameplay is same with others, and I like it very much, but comparing with others, there is better one. Jewels Pro has too small piece of jewels, I played using Samsung Galaxy Ace, and it is hard for me to precisely touch the jewel.

#5. Yoshi's Island ( DS )

Cute! This game made me smile and sometimes laugh, I really enjoy when seeing the story, it's funny, the graphics and sounds are cute though. The gameplay is super mario oriented, and I love it, there is no gamer in this world who doesn't love Mario, if there is, maybe she loves Luigi. Moreover, I like Yoshi because of green body color, I love green!
