Flameosity

IAMGAMEDEVELOPER - Flameosity is a simulation-action game, based on physics materials and natural elements in the real world. The main character is a flame, a tongue of fire. The objective is simply to survive from the other elements which try to extinguish you, a flame.

In the game scene, player moves the flame by pointing it to where it should move, so it acts like a trailing blaze. There is no life bar or health parameter, once the flame is annihilated physically by nature, you lose. However, there are many checkpoints in every miles of the world space, the shape is basically like a point light (can be seen at the picture, on the water), which can deliver the flame back after being totally destroyed.

The journey needs long duration of time to be accomplished because it is not easy to pass all the obstacles, there are some tricks of movement to be applied. In addition, player can mix the flame with the other elements which are friendly fire, such as wood, paper, etc. For instance, in some scenes, where there is a small garden, you can burn it all, but still you have to consider about the size of the plants, you should search something which can enlarge the dimension of the flame to burn a plenty of those living things. Well, basically all events happen in this game is related with what is done in the reality.

There are two kinds of element’s action, passive and aggressive. Both of them can be friend or enemy of the flame. Example of aggressive element is a strong wind, which actually can make passive element becomes aggressive too. Because of the motion of aggressive element, natural disaster can occur which is one of the obstacles that must be avoided.

Therefore, Flameosity is a logical thinking game and it also needs experiences with natural components in the real world. As a learning tools, it teaches about the behavior of nature and physics.
